teen dancer meal:sweetpeas awesome pork spare ribs

I enjoy helping my mom with cooking but i also enjoy creating my own experiments such as this one which was created with a special sauce i like to make that goes on the ribs. Many times before this, I was always just looking around in the pantry and fridge for random spices or sauces that would go well together but finally this time I decided to write this all down.

I had two of my friends over here. my little sister gave thumbs up, and my friends both loved it. actually one of them did not eat much of it here but decided to take it home to finish! Both of my parents declared it as excellent and couldn't be better!

INGREDIENTS

i used to make this mixture:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon oriental 5 spices
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. preheat the oven to 250
  2. mix all of the ingredients together in a medium size bowl apart from the ribs
  3. spread 2 large pieces of foil over lapping each other over a large oven tray
  4. add some of the sauce over the foil, then place the ribs in a single layer then add the rest of the sauce
  5. cover with more foil and place in the oven for about 3.5 hours
  6. remove top foil and low broil for 15 more minutes
  7. enjoy! :)

I have ribs in the freezer. I may have to use your sauce and method. Better yet, you could just come along and bake them for me. I'm sure you have the touch!
