Above all, I have to keep on reminding myself... Have the camera with me at ALL times so that I could keep on taking photos throughout these days I am spending in Portugal. Our plane arrived a little over an hour late and with our two daughters one on each side I barely slept. We arrived at my parents house and all had some good bread and butter. Later we went to the restaurant Casa do Luis where we had an amazingly fresh grilled Peixe Espada (scabbardfish). Had a nice nap them my sister and her daughters arrived from Spain. At night we had veggie soup then some percebes (acorn barnacle)-some prehistorical looking shellfish that grow in the rocks much as mussels do; tremoços (lupini beans), queijo fresco (fresh cheese), and some Spanish buquerones (white anchovies) in a vinagraitte type of sauce.
