Day 1 in Spain

Callos Madrillena
We arrived early in Madrid and came straight to my sister's house in Vilanueva de la Cañada. After a nice dip in the pool we had lunch which consisted of Callos - Tripes and tiny fava beans with jamón.

Of course after lunch we all had a nice siesta then more time in the pool and shortly after time for dinner - charcoal grilled whole chickens with a spicy sauce consisting of extra virgin olive oil, coarse sea salt, minced garlic and store bought piri-piri sauce (or Louisiana hot sauce).
