Breakfast Smoothie


Whenever I actually remember I prepare this smoothie for my daughters breakfast. This along with bacon and grapes. My daughter was the one who started this recipe as she learned from a friend at school. We do many variations of it depending of what fruits we have at home. During the summer we also make popsicles out of them, much better, cheaper and certainly healthier than those store bought that are packed with chemicals and food colorants.

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
2 cups of organic frozen berries
1 cup of apple juice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and press liquify 
  2. Stop when all is nice and smooth

SUGGESTIONS

Other fruits we use are mangos and kiwi. When we are short of juice we will add yogurt or soy vanilla milk.

your smoothie comes out very frothy... jealous.. My go to smoothie comes out more like a juice but still great nonetheless
